This feature will be on by default and users have to ensure that their Google Drive app is out of date to use it. Further, it will offer improved sharing options, sharing controls. Using this feature, iPhone users will be able edit, comment, and collaborate on Microsoft Office files using Google Docs’, Sheets’, and Slides’ powerful real-time collaboration tools.
“This feature brings the collaborative and assistive features of Google Workspace to your Microsoft Office files when you’re using your iOS device,” said Google in the Workspace update blog post. The feature is already available for Android and desktop users and has now been made available to iPhone users too.
Internet search giant Google has rolled out the support to edit Microsoft Office files on Google Docs, Sheets, Slides apps for iPhone users.
